Rhythms: Dotted Rhythms, Scottish Snaps, Syncopations, Ties, Difficult Divisions of the Beat

Conduct as the time signature indicates, and chant the rhythm using the syllable “Tah.”

 

Rhythm Duet

Clap the lower part and chant the upper part on “Tah.” At the repeat, switch parts so that you are chanting the lower part and clapping the upper part. Also practice with a partner with both of you chanting.
