Sing through these melodies to familiarize yourself with one of the most common chord progressions, that is, I-IV-V-I (or i-iv-V-i in minor).

Conduct and sing using solfege.

Harmonic Contexts in Diatonic Repertoire

Practice both parts of these duets with a partner until you are equally adept at both.

Harmonic Context: Round

Practice this round with one or more partners, conducting and singing with solfege. Pay especial attention to the implied harmonies of chords I, IV, and V. (The second singer enters when the first singer reaches rehearsal 2, etc.)
